We promote the integration of climate change mitigation and adaptation approaches into the programmes and activities of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC) and its partners.

We therefore
apply and practice the jointly developed Climate & DRR (Disaster Risc Reduction) Check to increase climate resilience and compatibility of SDC development programmes and activities
promote training & on the job training of SDC staff and partner organisations with regard to climate change by the use of on-line tools and printed information material as well as by collegial coaching within the network community.
share knowledge & information on climate change by improving web services and giving access to climate change related programs, research and competence centers & networks and results of piloting activities
support SDC staff in result and impact monitoring related to programm and activities integrating climate change mitigation and adaptation approaches (Lessons learnt, best practices, SMART indicators)
convince decision makers and citizens of climate compatible development (producing public relations material, holding presentations, preparing speeches and podium discussions)
